Every client is assigned to a Care Coordinator who works hard to match your needs with the best caregivers. Your Care Coordinator will handle any issues or requests directly for you, without you having to wait in que. They will be there to help ensure smooth transitions and effective communication along the way.
We know that changes, even small ones, can affect routines and cause distress especially when there are cognitive issues involved. So, we communicate with you every step of the way by phone or email, whatever your preference may be.
- Consistency Seeing the same faces each week helps establish trusting relationships and efficient routines that work. That's what we want for our clients and caregivers
- In-House Training We provide up-to-date personal care and first aid training to our caregivers year-round, to ensure they are always prepared for the needs of our clients. As clients needs change, we change with them!
- Documentation All tasks that are completed, or not completed, are documented during each visit. Whether Mom ate her lunch, got a bath, or went to her appointment - are all tracked in the care logs.
- Telephony Caregivers clock in and out for every visit they make. Your Care Coordinator gets notified if one is missed, so we always know you're being taken care of, and can address a late arrival or missed visit immediately.
- Empathy Every staff member at BGH is here because they genuinely care. Every client is our grandmother, and every worried relative is our family. We are here to promote independence and increase quality of life - and we take it personal.
